RivalSweeper product facts

Last updated: October 15, 2026. Plain answers on coverage, update frequency, plans and limits, so you can check the fit before you sign up.

What is RivalSweeper?

RivalSweeper is an ecommerce competitive intelligence platform for D2C and B2C brands. It checks your competitors' websites every day and tracks their catalog and new products, prices and discounts, promotions and coupons, ads, marketing messages, shipping and payment options, markets and tech stack, plus how AI assistants describe and recommend your brand versus theirs.

Who is RivalSweeper for?

eCommerce brands and retailers that sell online and compete with other online stores:

  • Marketing leaders (CMO, VP Marketing, Head of Brand)
  • eCommerce and growth managers
  • Merchandisers and buyers
  • Founders, and the agencies that serve these brands

It fits best when you have several direct online competitors and need to know what they launch, discount and promote.

Not the best fit if you mainly need automatic repricing of your own catalog, MAP enforcement as a supplier, or sales battlecards for B2B deals. A dedicated pricing or sales-enablement tool fits those jobs better.

What does RivalSweeper track?

15+ competitive dimensions per competitor domain, including:

  • Catalog changes: new, removed and updated products, and new categories
  • Prices, discounts and dated price history
  • Promotions and coupon codes
  • Homepage banners and marketing messages
  • Meta ads, including ads that land on broken, sold-out or ended-offer pages
  • Shipping and payment options
  • Markets: shipping countries, currencies and languages
  • Tech stack
  • AI visibility: how AI models (RivalSweeper samples Google Gemini and OpenAI GPT models) describe and recommend you versus competitors

How often is the data updated?

Every day. RivalSweeper checks each monitored competitor site daily, so a change is known within 48 hours. It is daily monitoring, not real-time. Alerts go out when the daily check finds a change, and the dated history builds up from the day monitoring starts.

Which countries, languages and currencies are supported?

Any country. RivalSweeper reads public ecommerce websites, so a competitor can be anywhere and on any platform. Multi-market stores are tracked per market and currency, and price comparisons across stores are converted to your currency. When a store offers several languages, the English version is used where one exists.

As of 15 October 2026, RivalSweeper's database covers stores priced in 56 currencies and headquartered in at least 44 countries, with shipping data for 246 destination countries and territories.

Do I need to install anything or integrate my store?

No. There is no script, plugin or store integration. You add competitor domains and RivalSweeper monitors their public websites. It works whatever platform the competitor runs on.

How do I get the insights?

In the RivalSweeper app (dashboards, change feeds and reports), by email alerts, through RSS feeds you can connect to Slack or Google Chat, by asking Ask RivalSweeper (an AI agent over your monitoring data), through MCP in AI assistants such as Claude or Cursor, and through the REST API on Pro and Enterprise plans.

Can I try it myself, without a sales call?

Yes. RivalSweeper is self-serve: start a free 14-day trial with no card. The trial covers 1 monitored rival, the last 30 days of history and 1 user. Nothing is charged when it ends; access pauses until you pick a plan. A 15-minute call is optional.

What doesn't RivalSweeper do?

  • It does not reprice your products or run a MAP-enforcement workflow; it reports and alerts.
  • It is daily, not real-time.
  • It reads public pages only: no logins, no private or customer data.
  • Sites behind aggressive bot challenges can be partly covered.
  • Next-move predictions are indications with a confidence level, never certainties.

How does it compare with other tools?

Price trackers such as Prisync focus on prices for the product URLs you add and can reprice automatically; RivalSweeper covers prices plus catalog, promotions, marketing, ads, markets and AI visibility, without repricing. Traffic tools such as Similarweb estimate visits and channels; RivalSweeper shows what competitors change on their sites. See RivalSweeper vs Prisync and our tool comparison (we publish both; competitor details are dated and sourced).
